Improve your English

- Do your homework and be active in class. Write sentences with the new words every week.

- ovningsmastaren.se for extra exercises to every chapter and also randomized tests for the words to every chapter.

- Write! Write a diary in English, write letters... It doesn't matter WHAT you write, but do write!

- Read books. Check with the library, a good tip is to ask for "dyslexia-friendly" books.

- Watch movies with English subtitles, or without subtitles

- Chat w friends on Skype, play on-line games with friends from all over the world

- readtheory.org for reading exercises

- penpalschools.com if you want to practise writing with a penpal

- grammarflip.com to practise grammar

- teachthemenglish.com to practise listening. (We haven't had the time to check out this page yet, we just recently stumbled upon it.)

- kimstudies.com has loads of exercises on listening, reading, speaking and writing. Some of them may be a bit too easy for 8th and 9th graders, but try them out anyway.
